There aren’t many things Sam loves more than sharing his love of music with others. With experience teaching privately as well as in groups, he served as assistant to IBMA Kids on Bluegrass directors Deanie Richardson and Kimber Ludiker in both 2021 and 2023 and is a certified instructor through Junior Appalachian Musicians. Having spent years teaching at PineCone’s bluegrass camps and hosting monthly jams for youth in Raleigh, he’s contributed to a thriving scene of young players like The Loblollies, a talent-packed band he mentored through their early shows. From workshops on songwriting to deep dives in improvisation, there’s no skill Sam is afraid to help you tackle.
